Stephanie is a well known local artist who shared her work and how it lends itself to a book format. She was first inspired by an exhibition ‘Artists Books’ at the V & A, several years ago. Using a book format allows Stephanie to convey her ideas over a number of pages, developing a theme. She uses a range of materials, including paper, fabric, stitch and collage. Materials can be recycled or natural. The books very in size and shape and use text and images linked to the natural world

Stephanie uses a variety of book styles including bound, zig-zag tied and concertina hanging and scroll.. She shared a wonderful selection of books for members to look at the detail texture and story telling was so inspiring .
